Two or three-way pressure compensator with fixed adjustment, made in a stackable version ISO 4401-07. It keeps constant the pressure drop (characteristic ∆p of 4 or 8 bar) between P and alternatively A and B ports. It is placed under the proportional directional valves in order to create flow control functions that are independent of pressure variations. The selection of the pilot pressure from A and B paths takes place automatically, by means of a shuttle check valve incorporated in the compensator.
